PORTLAND, OR - Sheriff Nicole Morrisey O’Donnell was sworn-in as Sheriff of Multnomah County on Wednesday, January 4. She is the first woman to serve in this role in the Sheriff Office’s nearly 170 years of operation.

CHANDLER, ARIZONA - On Thursday, January 12, 2023, at approximately 6:15 a.m., a commercial truck rear-ended five vehicles resulting in multiple fatalities on eastbound Interstate 10 (I-10) adjacent to the Chandler Boulevard off-ramp. 

Shiprock Woman Sentenced to Five Years and 10 Months in Prison for Assault in Indian Country

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. – Alexander M.M. Uballez, United States Attorney for the District of New Mexico, announced that Faith Nicholle Sullivan was sentenced on Jan. 9 to five years and ten months in prison. Sullivan, 28, of Shiprock, New Mexico, and an enrolled member of the Navajo Nation, pleaded guilty on July 12 to assault with a dangerous weapon in Indian Country.

Bourbon County, KY Man Sentenced to Federal Prison for Armed Fentanyl Trafficking and Possession of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon

FRANKFORT, KY – A Paris, Ky., man, Jalen Jones, 26, was sentenced on Thursday to 97 months in federal prison, by U.S. District Judge Gregory VanTatenhove, for distribution of fentanyl, carrying a firearm during a drug trafficking crime, and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.
